Honor 80 series also coming on November
Honor has slated a November 23 launch, and later the company confirmed that we'll see the debut of the foldable Magic V. Today, the company's CEO, George Zhao, posted a video on Weibo, revealing that the Honor 80 series will also be unveiled. next Wednesday.
The phones will have a dual front camera, located in the center, giving way to Dynamic Island-type notifications.
The design of the phone was revealed by Timmy Yip, a 58-year-old renowned artist from Hong Kong with works in costume, visual and contemporary art. Another influential celebrity who has promoted the devices on his page is the Chinese model and actor Simon Gong, who has been part of the Honor family since the 1950s.
The camera design with two large circles has really been a part of Honor since the brand went independent, but it seems like the coolest implementation yet, with the number 8 embedded in the middle. Other than this bunch of photo and video teasers, not much is known about the series.
However, we expect at least three devices: Honor 80 with Dimensity 1080 chipset, Honor 80 Pro with a 108MP camera and Snapdragon 778G chipset, and Honor 80 Pro with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 160MP main camera, and two 50MP selfie cameras. . .
